Food School- Sensory Food Education

Puyricard

AGES 5-9

Perfect for tricky eaters and food science lovers!  Food science experiments are a fun and interactive way to expose kids to new flavors in a pressure-free environment. This is not a cooking class, but a playful way to bring kids to the table.

We foster childrens’ natural curiosity by giving them dynamic opportunities to touch, taste, smell, listen and talk about a variety of foods and through these adventures to widen their preferences in a healthy direction.

The long term benefits include respectful communication of preferences, reduced incidence of disordered eating and less fear/rejection of unfamiliar foods.

The classes are in a cycle of 5 senses and children from ages 5-9 can join us at any time.

Light snacks and fruits provided. Parents are welcome to stay for tea and will be invited to participate at the end of the workshop with their children.
