Ages 7-9

Three afternoons of food and fun!
We will work in a small group to give younger chefs the foundational skills to get started in the kitchen. They will learn how to:

– set up and clean up their workspace
– read a step-wise recipe
– measure by weight and volume
– double or half a recipe
– carefully consider risk and understand kitchen safety
– taste and describe food using vocabulary of the 5 senses
– create and explore their creativity in a relaxed home kitchen

Light snacks and fruits provided.
